Her 25+ year career in health & wellness has enabled her to develop functional, lifestyle based exercise for all women including specialist rehabilitative prenatal and postpartum programming.

Skye takes a holistic approach to health, and has a community of women who embrace and support one another, laugh and sweat it out in small group classes, learn nutrition tips, take on challenges and access wellness based seminars.

Traditional Mat Pilates

Rehabilitation, Corrective Exercise and special considerations for Postpartum women experiencing Pelvic Floor Dysfunction (leaks, tightness, and prolapse), Diastasis Recti, SI Joint Pain, and Low Back Pain.

You are under full supervision of Corrective Exercise Specialist and given a individual program for your specific needs.

We have raised the Barre and take the average Barre Class to the next level with our popular Signature Barre workout.
Barre incorporates exercises and movements quite different from what you see in a traditional strength training class, requiring focus and attention to detail to complete with proper technique. This cognitive awareness in exercise allows for better body awareness and alignment outside of the studio. The more aware we are of our bodies in space, the more in tune we are about feeling pain or discomfort. By being more aware, we can adjust our lives accordingly and drastically reduce the risk of injury in daily life.

Prenatal Pilates​

TPB Studio Owner and Pilates Specialist, Skye Simmington, has been facilitating one of Newcastles most popular Prenatal Pilates & Birthing classes for the past 18 years. Assisting thousands of Hunter women in their beautiful birthing story and postnatal recovery.

The PilatesBarre Prenatal sessions are fun and supportive in a relaxed environment to allow you to stretch & strengthen your body, and connect with your changing body and growing bub.

Each class is designed to nurture you throughout your pregnancy, with expert instruction and educational discussions about labour and birthing.

Movement is incredibly important during each stage of pregnancy and it is essential you have specialist prescribed advice to suit your needs. 

Safe modifications are important to reduce pregnancy complications such a low back and SIJ pain, pelvic girdle pain and prevent abdominal separation.

For high risk pregnancies, a doctors letter is required, please contact Skye prior to classes to ensure safe adjustments are available for you.
